Privacy Policy

Our products are made by AISS SOFTWARE. None of them has an account, analytics or a server that holds your data. Here is exactly what each one touches and sends.
Steadywatch (Chrome extension)
What it sends. Steadywatch never sends what your kid watches, searches or does anywhere. The only request it makes is the Pro license check: when you activate a key, and at most once a week after, it sends the key to Lemon Squeezy (who sells it) to confirm it's still valid. Free use sends nothing at all. Its Buy buttons open aisssoftware.com/go/steadywatch/buy, which counts the click (where in Steadywatch, and whether the trial was on; no cookie, no ID) and forwards you to checkout. If Steadywatch is removed, Chrome opens a short "what went wrong?" page on this site.
What it stores. Settings, the PIN (salted and hashed, never stored as typed) and the weekly numbers are kept in Chrome's storage for the extension, on that computer. Removing the extension removes them.
What it can access, and why.
- youtube.com: To hide Shorts on YouTube pages. It runs on YouTube and nowhere else.
- Declarative net request: To send Shorts links to the normal player, or block them, before they load, without reading your traffic.
- Storage: To keep your settings, the PIN (as a salted hash) and the weekly numbers in the browser.
- Alarms: To time the daily limit, bedtime hours and pauses.
- api.lemonsqueezy.com: Only to check a Pro license key. Free use never contacts it.
Unpost (Chrome extension)
What it sends. Unpost works inside your own Reddit tab, as you. It never sees your password and has no server, so your posts and the delete log stay on your computer. The only request it makes is the Pro license check: when you activate a key, and at most once a week after, it sends the key to Lemon Squeezy (who sells it) to confirm it's still valid. Free use sends nothing at all.
What it stores. Filters, progress and the deleted-items log are kept in Chrome's storage for the extension. The log can be exported as CSV.
What it can access, and why.
- reddit.com (asked when you turn it on): To read your own profile pages and delete what you chose, in your logged-in tab. Not granted at install.
- Scripting and tabs: To run the delete steps in that Reddit tab and show progress.
- Storage: To keep your filters, progress and the local log of what was deleted.
Headwise (Chrome extension)
What it sends. Headwise has no server and no analytics, and it can't read your traffic: Chrome applies the rules. The only request it makes is the Pro license check: when you activate a key, and at most once a week after, it sends the key to Lemon Squeezy (who sells it) to confirm it's still valid. Free use sends nothing at all.
What it stores. Rules and profiles are kept in Chrome's storage for the extension. Export them as JSON any time.
What it can access, and why.
- Site access, one pattern at a time: Asked when you add a rule, only for that rule's pattern. Nothing is granted for all sites at install.
- Declarative net request: Chrome applies your header rules itself. The extension never reads your requests or pages.
- Active tab: To show which rules match the tab you're on.
- Storage: To keep your rules in the browser.
DiskApp (Mac app)
DiskApp has its own site and its own policy, which lists every request the app makes: diskapp.app/privacy. In short, nothing about your files ever leaves your Mac.
License checks
When you activate a Pro key, the product sends the key and a name for that browser or Mac to Lemon Squeezy’s license service, and re-checks it at most once a week after that. Deactivating removes the license from your device and frees the slot. Lemon Squeezy handles this under its own privacy policy.
Payments
Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record: it handles checkout, your card, taxes and receipts. We never see your full payment details. We receive the order details Lemon Squeezy shares with sellers, such as your name, email and what you bought, and use them only to support your purchase.
This website
aisssoftware.com is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, in aggregate: which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from. It sets no cookies, doesn’t fingerprint you and doesn’t track you across other sites. It also keeps three plain counts, per product and country, with no cookie, ID, IP address or browser details stored: Buy clicks on this site, Buy clicks inside our extensions (they open a link on this site that forwards to checkout), and visits to the page Chrome opens after an extension is removed. It loads its price list from this same site; nothing else. Cloudflare’s standard traffic logs see your IP address, as they do for any website.
If you email us, we use your address only to reply. We don’t sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete our correspondence at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above. Anything new a product sends will be listed here before it ships.
